Black British Sound will explore the developments of Black radio and music since 1980 from Dread Broadcasting Corporation (the first black pirate radio in the UK) to No Signal (the black owned, bedroom made radio station created during the peak of COVID earlier this year). The episode will discuss all the genres/songs that were created by and dominating Black Brits from UK Garage and Grime to Drill and Afro Swing.
