Jame St Findlay is a Scottish artist currently based in London and studying at the Royal Academy. Through film, performance and sound, Jame makes worlds where the mundane, melancholic, melodramatic and humorous slip onto and tinge each other. Through prosthetic body extensions, Jame has developed various personas which make strange of the ordinary. He says he is currently in his “collaborative era”. And so, we will focus on three recent collaborative projects: Death Knell - a film from his solo show ‘Low Hanging Fruit’ at Celine Gallery in Glasgow, Conditional Love - a solo exhibition at Middlesex Presents in London, and Petting Zoo, a recent performance at the Royal Academy.
