13 Stories is a series of stories produced by 16-25 year olds from Thamesmead: exploring storytelling as a powerful tool for constructing identities, understanding the world around us, and shaping that world. These stories highlight the many experiences of growing up as a young person, stories ranging from looking for a first job, to overcoming stage fright, to exploring ideas of love and loss- all through the medium of audio storytelling.
The project is part of the Creative Knowledge Project, working with young people around the opening of a new library for Thamesmead on Cygnet Square in Spring 2022.
