Dark machines is an attempt, by artist and musician UUMWELT, to create a taxonomy of dark music, past and present, exploring electronics as a requirement for gothic tendencies post-modernity. Each episode will explore an eclectic array of the flavours of darkness; from amplified monolithic drones to dislocated soundscapes and brutal industrial rhythms blurring with discordant synthesis, the show aims for a flattened ontology of dark sound via the black box.
