This month we invite +777000, a good friend of Cherche Encore, to share a mix of carefully chosen new releases and remixes: a journey of earnest melodic and lyrical joy interwoven with a creeping unease. +777000 produces music from melodramatic code that deals with extending, resurfacing and adjusting memories via sample-based orchestration. Their sonic spectrum ranges from rhythmic waves of ambient to RnB and string infused walls of glistening noise. Recent compilation contribution 'your screen' is a gently pointillistic portrait of computer love, part of a release history of beauty teased from hyper-zoomed textural pop samples that includes well-loved 2020 EP 'Perma-Interval'. They also co-run respected London club-leaning label Edited Arts, which offers a gleaming back catalogue including DJ Pitch, angelicaa/First Circle and Diessa.
