Following our event on Thurs 20th June at Ormside Projects, this month we share recordings from three live performances, by Daniel S. Evans & Jasper Llewellyn (MEANDERS), Theodora Laird & Caius Williams, and Egg Meat. First, MEANDERS share a twilit improvisation using candles, cello, snare drum wire vibrations and amp feedback. Theodora Laird & Caius Williams showcase pieces from their recent release on Cherche Encore, “Crosspiece”, woven through with an intimate improv using upright bass, baritone guitar and vocals. Egg Meat perform unreleased material from their upcoming album, with warped skitters and syncopations spoken from the fog of the dancefloor.
