Listening sessions as Temporary Autonomous Zones are the inspiration for this iteration of the show. Group audio explorations exist beyond any social divide and they reject annihilation, they promote a wish for positive change. This is possible through communities, in which all are enveloped under a sonic curtain, a feeling shared between raves and protest manifestations. This part of the show looks into how heavy techno and rave music is part of a resistance movement.
My guest for this one is SUZUKI, the music project of the visual artist Vera Chotzoglou. SUZUKI is a DJ and producer based in Athens with a passion for electronic music, composition and sound design for films and video. They have played in various spaces such as Cantina Social, Cannibal Radio Athens, LCCA Latvia, EMST Athens, SMUT club, Romantso club Athens.
A Fade Radio resident Since 2022, their music and erratic DJ sets drift between techno, ambient, experimental sounds and electronic music.
