BODIES UNDR MY GARAGE 07.10.23 (With Mariam Morshed)

This edition of the show brings @mari.obj as a guest for the 2nd hour (8 to 9 pm). She will be combining 90s/00s video game sounds and a few of her pieces.

Mariam Morshed is a sound artist, music researcher, and composer currently based in London. Her compositions are stretched, layered, and spacialised milliseconds of field recordings which prolong moments of resonance. Her two-track EP ‘Fragments of Naderi’ recently released in May 2023, a sound collage dedicated to 50 years of Persian traditional music taken from the archives of Radio Iran. She is half of Spiraal, a new electronic duo drawing upon the paranormal, OSTs, field recordings, discordant melodies and restless dreams.

My set was compiled during the time I was working for my latest show with @goodeyeprojects and is focusing on the idea of the origins of fear, its potentiality to see things underground.
