Polley Music Library show: The history of song collectors

On this episode of the Polley Music Library show, we talked about the mysterious world of song collectors. For the last century, these pioneers have captured recordings of music from around the world and in our own back yards before it was changed by the modern world, or disappeared into history. We talked about a great new book about their work, and we listened to some examples, too.
