This edition of the Polley Music Library show explored the lesser-known but fascinating movement of "spectralism" in music. What started among mostly French and German composers in the 1970s gradually came to include composers in Canada and Romania among other places, all trying unique methods of harnessing acoustical principles to create new kinds of sonic magic.
