On this edition of the Polley Music Library show, we learned about an interesting new book that explores different conceptions over time about what the "music of the future" would be like. The future often turns out differently than we might have expected. We also heard a few examples of music on the cutting edge of opera's "future" as a musical demonstration of how this process continues to unfold.
