On this edition of the Polley Music Library show on KZUM, we began the first of a few visits we'll make this year into Beethoven's work, as 2020 is his 250th birthday! This time around, we talked about his string quartets and recommended a few Polley books great for learning more about his string quartet writing. We checked out a late-period quartet recording, too.
