The Hungerford Bookshop is owned and run by Emma and Alex, the bookshop team are passionate about books and the importance of independent shops. You won’t experience algorithms there. What they do offer is knowledge, personal recommendations, the chance to hear from the authors themselves and the joyful serendipity of discovering a title you never expected. They work closely with other organisations and schools and believe in playing an active role within the community.
