Our new series of mixes "Global Friends" gets kicked off by the exciting project Bredren.

Bredren is a collaboration between the dubstep duo Requake and one member of the Belgian drum ‘n’ bass duo Orphans. The three met each other at a local DJ contest in Belgium in 2009. Back then, Adrien and Sebastien (Requake) had not yet started DJ’ing or making music but were both heavily into drum ‘n’ bass. Not long after meeting the Orphans guys, they decided it was time to have a go at DJ’ing. Requake was born. It wasn’t long until both of them started to get intrigued by dubstep.
