Friends & Family: Arkaik - Ultra Clean & In-Reach (Guilford, GBR) #14

Over 10 yrs ago Peter Goebel AKA Arkaik discovered the musical drug DnB. Influenced by Bad Company, Dillinja & Roni Size he then started playing in clubs in & around the UK & producing shortly after. 2008 - Arkaik became a resident for Bassment, Reading, playing with artists like Noisia, Break, Calibre & Icicle. Being influenced by minimal DnB (Data, Spectrasoul & Instra:mental) this sound soon emerged in his production.

2010 - Arkaik first released Stress Relief/Second Bass (DIFF004) on the label Diffrent Music, this would prove to be a landmark moment & the 1st of many releases. Arkaik went on to win the Octane & DLR remix competition hosted by the mighty Dispatch Recordings in early 2012. With support from the likes of Doc Scott, Ant TC1, Chris SU, Mindscape, Ulterior Motive & Need For Mirrors this gave Arkaik a platform to release his first EP on Diffrent Music titled Trauma EP (DIFF011D) shortly after.
