This mix is rather short but upbeat, uplifting and fearless - a bit like how I imagine Jodie Williams to be.
It can be interpreted on different levels.
From a pure superficial point of view, Jodie was the only female athlete in this Channel 4 competition (and it might be a man's world, but it would probably be pretty bland without that "special female touch"), she is a runner and she is fairly young (so she is basically a "moving woman" doing her thing despite her age) and it's safe she is pretty darn quick. She's hoping to qualify for the WAC for the first time which must mean she is very determined (so hold on WAC - she is coming!) and I hope she'll make it!
On a slightly different level, this is mix is about having fun, doing what you love, give & receive inspiration (spot the lovely poem by Nancy Dupree called "Self Love" on track 4), keep on going despite downfalls and (hopefully) reaching your end goal - Something I think me, Jodie & the rest of you have in common.
