"We visit the artist studios of Yero Adugna Eticha and Henok Getachew Woldegebreal to learn more about their respective art practices and how they have evolved over time. Yero’s multi-year project, Black in Berlin, explores representations of blackness through photography in the wake of Black Lives Matter demonstrations, with a recent exhibition at f³ – freiraum für fotografie. Henok, working with painting and performance art, appropriates “power representing books” such as atlases and dictionaries to construct new meanings.
