The mixtape is all about curating and selecting music from my record collection to provide the perfect narrative arc for an athlete who is competing against the best sprinters in the world in front of a TV audience of millions. The programming of the selection of music introduces you to the man 'Mr Cool' entering the stadium to race build up with 'Cardiology' which is all about the athletes body, “I Am The Black Gold Of The Sun” is a statement of Usain's self confidence, and 'A Virus Waits' is the transitional piece to start the mental preparation for the sprint. 'Scatter Brain' provides the musical tension for the athlete as he approaches the starting blocks on the track and sets his body in position. Finally 'Black Steel' is the sound of Usain exploding out of the blocks and moving like a machine down the track to the sound of 'The Bells', and the mix ends in victory and celebration for the winner with 'Les Fleur'.
