“Lifeline” is a direct and defiant anthem about surviving pressure, rejecting expectations and finding strength in another person when everything else begins to collapse. Written by Nick Betschart and Dyeana, the lyrics explore independence, survival and loyalty in a world shaped by financial pressure, toxic expectations and constant uncertainty. Rather than accepting the idea that they need to be fixed or guided along an approved path, Nick and Dyeana present themselves as partners navigating a broken system together. The title “Lifeline” represents that connection: not a rescue from reality, but the person who remains beside you while you move through it. The bridge brings together themes of betrayal, broken dreams and societal lies before turning them into a declaration of resistance. At its core, the song is about refusing to surrender control and creating a place of your own between chaos, pressure and survival.
