For the first mix of March I wanted to try and continue my excursions into the genre of Amapiano that I started last weekend. I kept it at a tempo of 117 BPM throughout the mix and I think it gives it an overall laid-back vibe though I'll admit that the flavors throughout are still fairly dark. Make sure to check out the release from Montreal's SPRLUA, "Magnum Dopus". Its definitely going to get some heavy play from me throughout the coming year as I continue experimenting with these sounds.
