During the last couple of years I've been mainly playing techno as a dj. But it wasn't always like that. In my early dj years I played a wide variety of house music on a regular basis. Besides, people who are familiar with my work as both a dj and a producer know that I absolutely hate limiting myself to specific styles of music. And who really cares about the exact genre or name anyway, right? Call it house, call it whatever. Good music is good music!
As it happens I was asked to play some house music at several local parties last month, and had the joy of diving into my record collection for some suitable tracks. So why not record a little mix? This is the result. Some great house tracks I had almost forgotten. Mixed the "old-fashioned" way. I hope you like it!
