Like this mix’s title suggests, spring has already sprung and I’m a couple weeks late on delivering my annual collection of new tunes. Since Punxsutawney Phil himself predicted a late spring, my mix was also hibernating for an extra couple of weeks until it was ready to wake up and enjoy the weather. Now, just like the much-anticipated season we are in, my mix is finally here! SPRUNG is very idiomatically similar to the month of the equinox, it comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. The first half is lush, youthful and fun, the second half has the weight of wisdom one usually gathers from a season of experiences. So have a nice spring everyone, before you know it, good ol’ Punxsutawney will be lathering on some sun tan lotion and blasting some summer jams.
