Up The Beanstalk concludes its sprawling reconstruction of Silent Spring by Rachel Carson, first published in 1962. This episode brings together readings and contributions from David Hoyle, Esther Dillner, Anne McCloy, Stuart McKenzie, and Rubie. It also features a full transmission of Music for Funerals and Bricklaying Ceremonies by Jimmy Cauty (TowerBlock1), a 23-minute composition played during the bricklaying ceremonies at The People's Pyramid—a memorial monument currently under construction in Liverpool.
