some time ago i came across the idea that ambient music didn’t truly begin with artists like brian eno, but can be traced back to classical music and its power to shift listeners into different states of mind. guided by that thought, i’ve been exploring and collecting contemporary works that use classical instruments while pushing further into ambient territories.
