This set traces the threads of my North African and Middle Eastern heritage, songs of lament and longing, where Arabic and Spanish melodies meet in a shared language of yearning, celebration and peace. They carry the mercy of the Maghreb, the devotion to mystery, the ache that binds us. These are the sounds I grew up with, woven into my mother’s lullabies and the radio tunes she played while cooking dinner, each note steeped in memory and belonging.
