From host: _"Colorado cassette bins are kind of special in that they are chock full of weirdo new age private press stuff. Boulder has a sort of new age material halo around it, and in the last few years, I’ve gathered a pretty heady collection of new age cassettes from thrift stores and estate sales. I dubbed some and cut them up into an ultimate herbalized Saturday morning new age chopped and screwed mix.
The mix is 3 acts: it opens with a dipped body scan from Dr. Miller and Madame Kelly and then segues into three ambient chopped and screwed new age caverns. Mountain air infused extra head room from the Wading Soundsystem. From there the second act falls into some bucolic classical inspired new age and field recordings. The last act is a wild little nugget of heady Nepalese classical I’ve treasured sin...
