Mo'min Swaitat teams up with some of his favourite artists and labels to present his collection of vintage cassettes from Palestine and beyond, including jazz, funk and Bedouin field recordings.
From the host: _"In the first episode of the year Palestinian Sound Archive brings you a mix of local and Palestinian post-punk, synth and rock bands.
This highlights the work of Herb Diamante, who made melodramatic torch songs with a pinch of psychedelia, causing altered states of consciousness in general and more specifically using humour and absurdity to fight all those who wish to control us. The set also features Palestinian punk/ anarchist bands including IKHRAS and The A, spanning the 1980s to the modern day."_ Find the full tracklist and related episodes on NTS: https://www.nts.live/shows/palestinian-sound-archive/episodes/palestinian-sound-archive-12th-january-2026
