This is a mix of obscure indietronica/folktronica released between 1999 and 2007, inspired by hyper-contemporary releases from artists like Worldpeace DMT, Ideasforconversations, Chanel Beads, Cicada, Josephine's Next Million Miles, Ear, b7lanket, Her story and Horse Vision.
About a month after I first started exploring/obsessing over the above bands, I came across the Internet Archive’s Netlabel Collection, a library of independently released mp3’s from the early to mid 00’s.
