LYON CAPITALE DU ROCK 1978-1985 W/ PEPELATS - 28th December 2024

Nowadays mostly known for its electronic music scenes, Lyon was once considered the French "Capitale du Rock". In the after punk era, bands from suburbian areas create their own new wave sound, including elements of punk, synth pop & funk. In 1978, the founders of the local Rock'n'Roll Mops club set up a festival at the Théâtre Antique de Fourvière for what remained as the climax of Lyon's rock golden age.
