Toi - is a word meaning a celebration in Kyrgyz, but it's a bit more than that. It's a party in a Kyrgyz sense. Always packed with dancing, singing, happiness and joy. It's a reason for all of friends, relatives and family to reconnect and celebrate together.
There are many different Tois. It's our national custom, a whole ritual and a fundamental part of our culture.
And music is an essential part of almost every Kyrgyz Toi.
