Salomão Borges Filho aka Lô Borges was founder of now-mythic Minas Gerais collective Clube da Esquina, co-writing the album of the same name that went on to become a milestone in Brazilian pop history. As a musician he channeled influences from a dizzying array of sources, from jazz, progressive rock, and classical music, pushing local folk and bossa nova styles into new eras.
