the older i get, the more fascinated I become with older recordings. there is a magic in the way they used to capture vocals, especially harmonies, that i find difficult to describe. to me now, they sound spiritual and rather ghostly, but i wonder how it sounded to folks back then, with no context or vision of what was to come. may these sacred souls bring you peace.
