Dedicated to the mothers and aunties who have crossed oceans for/to us, this is a sonic history weaving together the music and memories of beloved collections gifted to us by daughters, who had first inherited their collections and love for music from their mothers.
From 1950s-70s Taiwanese pop 45’s to 1980s-00s Hong Kong Cantopop CDs, to our mothers(land) is a record of the songs and stories that have traveled across generations with us."
