This episode is a special made from Basel, Switzerland. While I am on a residency from Pro-Helvetia, I watched for the first time an [acoustic concert by Mercedes Sosa played in 1980 in Lugano, Switzerland](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1rPjtnHo2Q). After being detained in 1978 while playing live in the city of La Plata, Argentina by the government during the last military coup, and receiving death threats, she exiled to France. This concert is a clear manifestation of her sadness and her longing for returning, while also expressing hope, love and faith in the wisdom of music.
