Continuing on from the first http://www.mixcloud.com/MrLob/the-gregory-porter-sessions/, Part 2 continues the story further with tracks from Gregory's own albums, as well as live versions of tracks he did prior to releasing his 3 albums and tracks that he has featured on with other notable artists such as David Murray, Zbonics and Magnus Lindgren amongst others. Again using bits of interviews Gregory Porter has done between tracks to set the scene and help you the listener to look further into his music, style and influences.
There is so much more to Gregory Porter's music and style that I have not covered here but I hope that over these 2 sessions, you the listener get a greater understanding and appreciation of this music, music that is honest, joyful, sad, for the good times and the bad, for those seeking solace or merely to see the beauty that such a lyricist and singer can bring to your ears, heart and soul.
