Originally from Leicester, he co-founded Blitz Vega in 2016 with Andy Rourke, best known as the bassist for The Smiths. The debut album Northern Gentleman released in 2024, honouring a promise made to Andy before his passing. A documentary about the band is set for release in 2026, the album features mixes by Z-Trip/ Jagz Kooner-included on the DJ set
Best known for playing guitar with Happy Mondays from 2004, helping Shaun Ryder reform the band, co-writing their album Unkle Dysfunktional & the single Playground Superstar
