Over the past two months, I’ve crafted a cinematic journey, mixing dark jazz, braindance, speed metal, soul, 60s love ballads, drones, funk, and more genres that all echo the surreal world Lynch is known for. Inspired by his films and Twin Peaks, the mix takes you through haunting soundscapes and uplifting moments, with a personal touch drawn from my daily walks through the forests of Brussels. It’s an unsettling, dreamlike ride that builds to a close, much like the way Lynch wrapped up Wild at Heart—in love, not confusion. A sonic journey that’s perfect when the sun goes down.
