Blue in Green w/ Stéphane Gelland // 6 juillet 2025 // Melomaniacs Live from Georges Hostel, Sète

Finally! I'm delighted to publish Blue in Green from Sète, France, during the recent Worldwide Festival, with the super cool Stéphane Gelland: music programmer and journalist at Radio Grenouille and host of the Le Coton Club on the same station. We broadcast live from the accueil of the Georges Hostel in Sète where I stayed and Stephane and I bumped in to each other by chance whilst I was preparing the show.

The show is slightly abridged due to some technical problems - but the most important element is front and centre, which is Stéphane himself talking us around some of his tastes an influences. A digger, journalist, former WorldWide FM lead and all round great guy.

It's great to listen back, feel the warmth and excitement this week of incredible music imbues on us and this beautiful coastal town. There are musical nods and winks to the artists and DJs who played, as well as to Georges Brassens himself, and of course Stéphane's records which cut deep across the French Carribean.
