In this special edition of the Golden Years, we learn more about the man who played Inspector Teal (The Saint), Inspector Large (Randall & Hopkirk Deceased) and appeared in so many other classic shows including The Persuaders, Coronation Street and Treasure Island. His name was Ivor Dean and he passed away 50 years ago, spending the last year of his life living and writing in Cornwall UK. His daughter Jennifer Dean still lives in the county.
