We are talking about the amazing living legend from Brasil, Elza Soares, who graces our shores for a one off show on Sat 15 October at Favela London. Spurred on by this momentous event, MADERA VERDE pulls out some Brasilian inspired beats and pieces, and also some numbers by Gospel, Disco and Jazz fellow Divas to keep Elza company. Along with some fresh club bangers of the Worldly persuasion, and a musical tribute to the new arrivals at SOAS this week, it all makes for a high maintenance show. Now where is my rider ... and why arent these grapes peeled?
