Live Archive Show #115 (Summer of Love Documentary - What Was That)

This episode of the Live Archive Show examines the years surrounding the Summer of Love, which occurred in 1967 in San Francisco. To do that we've used the recordings from a unique audio documentary created 45 years ago by the DJs and production staff at radio station KSAN, San Francisco’s pre-eminent freeform rock station during the 60’s and 70’s. The documentary was called “What Was That (Or Suddenly Lost Summer)”, and was created in 1975 and broadcast for 24 hours straight in January of 1976.
