Special, because while I lived in London, a lifetime ago, I used to frequent the Whirl-y-Gig events when they were held at Shoreditch Town Hall. It was such a magical mixture of circus, music, colour, characters... a home for many and a refuge for some...
...and walking through the doors of Whirl-y-Gig again, transported me back to more younger and carefree days...
It was time to repay Whirl-y-Gig back for some of the wonderful memories I have from those days in Shoreditch...
Recorded at the legendary Whirl-y-Gig night in London, Nov 10th, the Liquid Lounge had the honour and privilege to close proceedings in the Café Teez directly following the famous 'parachute set'...
What follows was inspired by the three songs used in the 'parachute set' as played by Monkey Pilot...
