XXXIII - Pluie d’été

XXXIII is a French artist producing electronic-pop music tinted with romantic and spatial sounds. Inspired by composers from the 70s and 80s such as François de Roubaix, Hiroshi Sato or Brian Benett, he recently released his first EP “l’odeur de l’orage ” (the smell of the storm) on Musique Large.

In this set, entitled "Pluie d’été” (Summer rain), XXXIII presents the music that inspired his EP: from Chassol, Siriusmo, Michel Polnareff to Atlanta, Daft Punk and his collaboration with Fulgeance under the TITRE moniker. Solar, melancholic and sometimes wobbly, this eclectic selection mirrors XXXIII's work and bring back sweet memories from holidays: "la pluie d’été qui annonce l’odeur de l’orage".
