When I typically play techno the selections are variegated and very dance-floor focused, and my style is very hands-on with fast cutting / transitions. This mix is an exception in that I wanted to play primarly minimal and mental techno selections with precise and smooth transitions, letting the tracks breathe. The intention was to create a dark, industrial-themed sonic journey, slowly building tension and inducing a sort of hypnosis. It was meant more for listening rather than dancing.
