On this month's Pioneers Hip Hop Show we begin a new series, 'Way Back When', where we track back from the month we are in, ie May, and go back to another year to see what was happening in the official charts (Groove Hip Hop Sales Charts as published in Echoes) for that time as well as sharing the news of the time. We also have a special section where we dig deeper for some of the underground music of the time that didn't chart or was unreleased. As usual, we also feature a splash of brand new music from the current time...
