DJ Perspectacle and DJ Banjo look at the future, from the lens of pop culture and media, specifically looking at popular imaginings of the future from Star Trek to Her, from Aliens to Tomorrowland to Mad Max. Donna Harraway's Cyborg Manifeto, Octavia Butler's Xenogenesis Trilogy, Lord of The Flies, and more all enter the discussion. Economics, racial conflict, CNN and The Hunger Games, and more are all up for examination and rumination.
