Recorded on Sunday 9th February 2025 James is the man behind Symphonical Records, the label that has reissued some truly beautiful rare music over the last few years, including gems like The Young Mods 'I Can't Hurt You Back’, The Ledgends 'A Fool For You’, and the tune from which we borrow our name, the epic 'Color One Tear Black’ by 'Double O's Demingo’s. It’s always a treat when James plays.
João Tenreiro is a premier league collector and selector, who was introduced to underground Black music from a young age – in the 90s his father was booking Keb Darge and Ian Wright to play deep funk in Portugal. We can’t wait to hear what João brings for his debut COTB session.
