Chris Peckings - In the 50s his Father George ran with Coxsone Dodd in Kingston, Jamaica, years before Coxsone's first recordings of his Studio One label. George moved to London in 1960 was single-handily responsible for getting Coxsone-produced 45s into the hands of London’s sound systems. In 1974 he opened the legendary Peckings record shop in West London, now run by Chris and his brother Duke. Chris has deep love and knowledge of soul music, especially two step and group harmony, the roots of rocksteady.
Yann Vatiste - His Epsilon label has consistently issued incredible ‘lost’ soul music, which is either previously unreleased or ultra-rare.
