This week's guest is the wonderful Maija Sofia.
Currently living in West Cork, Maija is a hugely talented 'freak folk' artist for want of a better word. They talk about that tag, living a somewhat nomadic existence, spending time alone (and loving it) and her approach to songwriting and touring. Also discussed are her song 'The Wife of Michael Cleary' featuring Junior Brother, and recently covered by Katie Kim and Radie Peat, as well as speaking about the theme of marginalised women which was attached to her Choice Prize nominated album 'Bath Time'.
