This week, Swimmers speaks with Kieran McGuinness (guitarist, singer and songwriter for Dublin 4-piece Delorentos).
Formed in 2005, the band have been on a real rollercoaster, through label interest, opening for Arctic Monkeys, touring the world and being signed after a relatively short time together, to their deal then falling apart. The band went on a brief hiatus in 2009 before getting back together for a new way of doing things. That way has proven to be not only hugely successful as each of their abums since has been nominated for the Choice Music Prize in Ireland (winning one of them), but also hugely satisfying for the band.
